Our dedicated and trained staff have worked within the health and hygiene industry for over 15 years; cleaning and giving advice to many customers over many years. Our main aim is to make aware the importance of having a better and healthier living environment, be it within the home, office or hotel industry.

After conducting surveys regarding the importance of tackling dustmites, we were astonished at the lack of knowledge people hold in to the effects of dustmites. The results showed that most people did not really bother or care that their mattress or soft furnishings within the home contained these horrible pests, the main cause of many health issues we face today.

When approached with a picture of the dustmites many people retreated at the sight of these dustmites and immediately were interested in how they could eradicate the problem. When we mentioned that children as well as adults were also effected this was concerning and shocking for many participants.

We at Zappmite now wish to work closely with health authorities, doctors and the public at large, in making people aware of how seriously their health could be effected if nothing is done at all to tackle the problem. The facts are clear - over 5 million people have asthma within the uk and this is increasing, more and more people are visiting the doctors surgeries for breathing and skin allergies that are closely related to dustmite allergens. We at Zappmite realise that there are many other reasons why people are affected by allergens, be it pollen or as simple as a reaction to food intake, however, we will do our utmost to assist every customer in facing this problematic issue together. As we say at Zappmite... A clean mattress is a healthy mattress and this is where your good health starts! After all we do spend up to 8 hours a night in our beds sleeping! Not to forget we also use this space for work or to watch tv, so the bedroom often ends up as a living room, a place we spent most of our time at home for most people. This is not a heatlhy place to be in, especially if the dustmites are still sharing the same room!
